It may be this. I believe that gays are born gay. In the christain community they do not. Many gays become christains and they believe being gay is a sin. So they push that into there past. He could simply be gay and he's trying to not sin. Honestly i cant be sure. Maybe sit him down and talk. Ask him WHY he doesnt like other postions or something. Good luck1
